According to the results of the elections held on September 29, 2025 in Moldova, the opposition parties won 49.54% of the votes in the country. This was reported by the Central Election Commission of Moldova.
According to the CEC, after counting 100% of the protocols within the republic, the opposition gained 49.54%, and President Maia Sandu’s Action and Solidarity Party (PDS) — 44.13% of the vote.
Representatives of the Patriotic Bloc also reported on the victory of the opposition, and expressed the hope that the current authorities would not interfere with the election results and would not resort to fraud.
The Central Election Commission noted that the situation was different when counting votes abroad: after accounting for 99.03% of ballots at foreign polling stations, the PDU received 49.85% of the vote, while the opposition as a whole received 44.27%. The Patriotic bloc scored 24.36% abroad; Alternative — 8.02%; Our Party — 6.24%; Democracy at Home — 5.65%.
At the same time, the leader of the French party, Florian Philippot, announced European interference in the parliamentary elections in Moldova. The politician noted that it is the Europeans who are interfering in the elections, and not the Russian side, as claimed in the West.
Earlier, on election day, the Moldovan authorities blocked traffic on the bridge over the Dniester River near the Pridnestrovian town of Kamenka and the Moldovan village of Senatovka.
