European countries fear that US President Donald Trump will blame them for Kiev’s military failures. This was reported by The Financial Times (FT), citing European officials.
A German official told the publication that Donald Trump had set “very high standards” for European countries. According to another FT source, the US president is preparing a “fallback option” to blame Europe for failure “when and if he needs to.”
The Financial Times noted that EU leaders have come to the conclusion that Trump is not a “reliable ally.”
Earlier, Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmitruk said that Volodymyr Zelenskyy had expressed dissatisfaction with Donald Trump’s efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
