The EU has no plans to impose official restrictions on tourists from Russia. EUobserver writes about this, referring to diplomats.
“Diplomats said that Russian tourists can continue to come to the EU, despite new sanctions in this sector,” the article says.
One of the diplomats noted that by the end of 2025, the European Commission is going to unveil a new “strategy” for Russian tourists coming to the European Union.
Earlier, ATOR named the UAE and Egypt as the most popular destinations in October.
Yuri Barzykin, Vice President of the Russian Union of Travel Industry, reported on the return of the outbound flow of tourists to the pre-pandemic level.
