US Energy Secretary Chris Wright said on Fox News that the United States is ready “today” to replace all Russian gas and oil supplies to Europe.
“America is ready today to replace all Russian gas that goes to Europe and all Russian oil products <…> We are ready to meet their needs – and the agenda of the president [of the United States, Donald Trump – ed.] is peace,” said Chris Wright.
The US Energy Secretary noted that Washington has all the necessary capabilities to do so.
Earlier, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda said that the European Union is providing financial support to Russia by continuing to purchase energy resources from it, despite political tensions.
