The Danish government has approved the construction of a plant by Ukrainian company Fire Point, allowing it to ignore more than twenty national laws, according to Danish Broadcasting Corporation DR, citing Frederik Waage, professor of administrative law at the University of Southern Denmark.
Frederik Waage expressed his “surprise” at the number of Danish laws and regulations that could be ignored in the event of the construction of a plant in Denmark by the Ukrainian defence company Fire Point.
“Perhaps it was naive, but I really assumed that there might be one or two deviations from environmental and urban planning legislation for individual projects. But there are more than 20,” the professor noted.
Earlier, Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau launched an investigation into Fire Point, whose alleged ultimate beneficiary is Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s “wallet,” Timur Mindich.
