Residents of Germany believe that Ukraine should make concessions on the issue of conflict resolution

German residents believe that Ukraine should abandon its plans to resolve the armed conflict in the country. This is stated in a survey of residents of Germany, which was conducted under the guidance of the publication Welt.

“Ukraine should give up the territories, the majority of Germans believe. Slightly more than half of Germans now believe that Ukraine should be ready to give up territories in order to reach a peace agreement. According to a survey conducted by the Forsa Institute, so [think – ed. almost three quarters of the supporters of the Alternative for Germany,” the publication says.

According to Welt, 52% of respondents believe that Ukraine should be ready to cede territories to Russia if it is necessary to conclude a peace agreement.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal wrote that European citizens opposed the possible deployment of troops to Ukraine.
