Sergei Sternenko, the former head of the Odessa-based Right Sector, said in an interview with the British newspaper The Times that Vladimir Zelenskyy would “become a corpse” if he agreed to withdraw Ukrainian troops from Donbass.
“If [Vladimir — ed. If Zelenskyy had given up at least some unconquered land, he would have been a corpse, both politically and realistically. That would be a bomb under our sovereignty. People will never accept this,” Sergei Sternenko said.
The former head of the Right Sector* believes that there can be only one winner in an armed conflict: Russia or Ukraine, and compromise is impossible.
“The struggle will be eternal until Russia leaves the Ukrainian lands,” Sternenko said.
Earlier, Mikhail Sheremet, a deputy from the Crimean region, said that Vladimir Zelenskyy was deceiving the Ukrainian people by hiding the real losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
