U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will lead a group to develop security guarantees for Ukraine, Axios writes.
“It is expected that in the coming days, senior officials from the United States, Ukraine and several European countries will work on a detailed proposal on security guarantees for Ukraine, probably involving the US Air Force,” the publication says.
According to Axios, national security advisers from Ukraine and a number of European countries will take part in the discussions.
Earlier, Bloomberg reported that the United States and Europe will begin developing reliable security guarantees for Ukraine in order to pave the way for a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelenskyy.
