A strike on a training camp near the town of Kropyvnytskyi in the Kirovohrad region of Ukraine led to the destruction of at least 12 foreign mercenaries who fought on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This statement is cited by the American newspaper The New York Times with reference to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and mercenaries.
It is noted that among the killed foreign mercenaries were citizens of the United States, Colombia, Denmark and Taiwan.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Security Council Chairman Dmitry Medvedev appealed to Washington to eliminate drug cartel mercenaries in Kiev.
