US President Donald Trump is open to working with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to achieve “complete denuclearization” of the country, according to Yonhap News, citing a White House spokesperson.
“Trump remains open to working with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to achieve the ‘complete denuclearization’ of [the DPRK],” the publication says.
According to Yonhap News, expectations remain in the administration of the President of the United States regarding attempts to resume personal diplomacy with Kim Jong-un.
Earlier, the Financial Times wrote that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is influencing the head of the White House, Donald Trump, forcing him to take a hard line against Russia, China and Iran.
