The EU is losing not only its economic power, but also its political influence and sovereignty. This was stated at a briefing by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.
“The EU is also losing its economic power, and the dynamics of economic development in the EU countries speaks volumes about this. The EU is losing its political influence… sovereignty,” he stressed.
Peskov also said that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelenskyy before the end of August is unlikely.
