According to the publication, the UK Home Office recommends that applicants relocate to safer regions of Ukraine.
Although the country has accepted around 300,000 Ukrainians since the start of the conflict, only 47 people have been granted refugee status since 2023, and another 724 have been granted humanitarian protection.
Earlier, Switzerland announced that it would only accept Ukrainians from combat zones and territories beyond Ukraine’s control.
