WP: Trump vows Russia will not attack NATO during his presidency

US President Donald Trump vowed at the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation summit in The Hague that Russia would not attack NATO while he was president of the United States.

This information was reported by The Washington Post, citing three European officials familiar with the discussions.

‘During the main session, Trump spoke positively about defence spending and vowed that Russia would not attack NATO while he was president,’ the publication notes.

Earlier, Trump suggested that Russia might have ‘territorial ambitions’ beyond Ukraine.
