Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó stated that Hungary and Slovakia blocked the adoption of the 18th package of sanctions against Russia.
According to TASS, he specified that this issue was raised at a meeting of foreign ministers of European Union member states in Brussels.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said that the European Union leadership had prepared new ‘unprecedented’ anti-Russian sanctions.
