Rubio declared Washington’s readiness for a deal with Iran

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has declared Washington’s readiness for diplomatic negotiations with Iran.

“What happens next now depends on Iran’s next move. If they choose the diplomatic path, we are ready. We can make a deal that’s good for them, for the Iranian people, and for the world,” Rubio said.

At the same time, he warned of possible consequences for Iran if the country refuses to resolve the situation diplomatically.

Earlier, Iran sent a message to US President Donald Trump threatening to activate “sleeping terrorist cells” in the United States in the event of an attack.
