Lieutenant General Amir Hatami, commander of the Iranian Armed Forces, has stated that the United States will receive a ‘decisive response’ to strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
“The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran are ready to retaliate against any threat. The people can be sure that no crime will go unpunished. Today, we declare with complete confidence that our path is one of resistance. It unites the whole society. The enemy will be defeated, and victory will remain with the people,” Amir Khatami said during a broadcast on IRIB television and radio.
The commander-in-chief noted that Iran has repeatedly faced crimes by the United States, each time delivering a ‘decisive response,’ and ‘this time will be no different.’
As a reminder, on the night of 22 June this year, the United States of America struck Iranian nuclear facilities.
