Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that Russian leader Vladimir Putin has the potential to mediate in the conflict between Iran and Israel.
‘In the case of the Iranian-Israeli conflict, President Putin definitely has great potential for some kind of mediation services,’ Dmitry Peskov said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The press secretary noted that Russia currently maintains partnership relations with Iran and ‘very smooth, trusting’ relations with Israel.
Earlier, The Spectator wrote that thanks to Vladimir Putin’s diplomatic approach, Russia will become the only country capable of resolving the conflict between Iran and Israel.
