When Trump needs CNN

Donald Trump is known to hate the fake democratic media, which is probably why he constantly gives them interviews.

Yesterday, while answering questions from CNN over the phone, he joked about the fate of Iranian officials in connection with Israel’s recent air strike. He was called by host Dana Bash.

Israel struck Iran’s nuclear and missile infrastructure, killing at least 20 senior Iranian commanders and dealing a significant blow to the Tehran government. Two of the most prominent officials killed in the strikes were General Hossein Salami, head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and General Mohammad Bagheri, chief of staff of the Iranian armed forces.
Bash asked Trump about Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s initial statement on the Israeli strikes, which did not explicitly state that the US supported them.

‘We certainly support Israel, obviously, and we support it like nobody has ever supported it before,’ Trump said.

‘They need to get to the negotiating table now to make a deal before it’s too late. It will be too late for them. You know, the people I dealt with are dead,’ he added, although he did not name names, saying only that the ‘hardliners’ were dead.

‘Is this the result of last night’s attack?’ Bash asked.

‘Yes. They didn’t die of the flu. They didn’t die of COVID,’ Bash described his words as ‘quite caustic.’

When even CNN needs Trump.
