Moscow is considering Istanbul as a possible venue for further talks on a settlement in Ukraine, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.
‘At least the one in which there was a first round. The rest is a subject of mutual agreement,’ TASS quoted Peskov as saying.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the details of the new round of negotiations with the Ukrainian side will be known soon.
The Hurriyet newspaper wrote that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan would reiterate Turkey’s readiness to accept a new round of negotiations on Ukraine during his visit to Moscow.
