German leadership will support Kiev in Ukraine’s development of its own long-range weapons.
The corresponding statement was made by FRG Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
‘We want to make long-range weapons possible. We also want to make co-production possible. We will not publicly discuss the details,’ – said the politician at a joint press conference in Berlin with Vladimir Zelenskyy.
Earlier, the Bild business daily reported that the German authorities intended to provide Ukraine with funding for the development and serial production of cruise missiles with a range of up to 2,500 kilometres.
