MoD: The Netherlands will complete the delivery of the promised batch of F-16s to Ukraine on 26 May

The Netherlands will deliver the last of the promised F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine on 26 May.

The head of the Defence Ministry of the Kingdom, Ruben Brekelmans, said this on air on WNL op Zondag.

“Tomorrow the last F-16s will depart from the Netherlands,” the minister said, adding that the AFU will have a batch of 24 combat aircraft at its disposal.

Ukraine lost another F-16 fighter jet on 16 May while repelling an air attack.

The chairman of the Russian Public Chamber’s commission on sovereignty issues, Vladimir Rogov, said that the downing of F-16 fighter jets in Ukraine had already become a “good tradition”.
