The Sparkasse Hannover bank blocked the account of former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder a year ago. About it writes Bild.
“According to research Bild, Sparkasse Hannover blocked his account for certain transfers”, – stated in the material.
It is noted that we are talking about transfers from the operator of “Nord Stream – 2” Nord Stream 2 AG.
In a letter to Schröder, the Bank’s management expressed fear of possible sanctions from the U.S., if he continues to credit funds to the account of the former Chancellor. It is noted that Schröder is not included in any sanctions list.
