British authorities are investigating whether Russia may have been involved in the arson attacks on the property of the country’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
This writes the Financial Times newspaper with reference to unnamed high-ranking sources of the British government.
‘British security officials are investigating whether Russia was involved in… arson attacks on properties linked to Starmer,’ the paper said.
The fire in the British prime minister’s house occurred on 12 May. Law enforcement officials detained the first suspect the next day.
Later in London detained the second suspect in the arson of Starmer’s house.
