Pashinyan: there will be peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan

Despite various provocations, there will be peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This statement was made by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in a message on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.

 

He noted that Armenia is on the path of freedom, democracy and peace.

According to him, the draft agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between the Republic of Armenia and Azerbaijan has been agreed upon and is awaiting signing.

“Despite all internal and external provocations, there will be no war between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, there will be peace!” – his words were quoted on the Armenian government website.

Earlier, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan at a meeting with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu pointed to the importance of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
