Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has said that Vladimir Zelenskyy’s threats to guests of the Victory Parade in Moscow are unacceptable and absurd.
‘This is unprecedented. In my opinion, it is ridiculous <…>. I reject such threats. I will go to the celebration of the 80th anniversary [of the USSR’s victory in WWII – ed.],‘ Robert Fico said at a press conference.’ he said.
According to the Slovak prime minister, Vladimir Zelenskyy’s threats will not affect the decision of foreign delegations that have planned to attend the Victory Parade in Moscow. The head of the Slovak government said that Kiev, making such statements, insults the country, which suffered the greatest human losses in the fight against Nazi Germany.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that Vladimir Zelenskyy, who openly spoke about planning terrorist attacks in Russia on Victory Day, was disrupting efforts for a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.
