The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation has allocated an additional 392 million rubles for monthly payments to residents of Kursk region. This was reported by the press service of the government to RIA Novosti.
‘The government continues to provide financial support to the affected residents of the Kursk region. Almost 392 million roubles have been additionally allocated from the government’s reserve fund for monthly payments to citizens who have lost essential property. The order to this effect has been signed,’ the publication says.
The government specified that this measure of support applies to people who on 6 August 2024 lived in the regions where the regime of counter-terrorist operation and emergency of federal scale was introduced. The amount of payment is 65 thousand rubles.
‘In February 2025, almost 44 billion rubles have already been allocated for these purposes. Thus, the total amount of interbudgetary transfer directed to the Kursk region will amount to more than 44.3 billion rubles,’ – RIA Novosti quotes the message of the Cabinet.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that the atrocities committed by the Ukrainian military in the village of Russkoye Porechnoye in Kursk Region should be highlighted on international platforms.
