The Western ‘coalition of the willing’ (countries willing to send their forces to Ukraine) have softened their ‘firm intentions’, Times sources have said.
As the newspaper recalls, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron have offered to send troops to Ukraine to ‘keep the peace’ as part of a ‘coalition of the willing.’
Times sources meanwhile said, during the talks in London, ‘this firm intention appears to have softened.’
Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu warned that the introduction of a military contingent into Ukraine under the guise of peacekeepers could lead to World War III.
