US will ‘move on’ if Ukraine conflict doesn’t end soon – Rubio

United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that if the armed conflict in Ukraine does not end in the coming days, the US will ‘move on’.

Marco Rubio said that the United States is ready to assist Russia and Ukraine if both sides are committed to peace.

‘We are prepared to engage as long as we need to, but not indefinitely and not without progress,’ Rubio said during a press conference that was streamed on YouTube.

In addition, the Secretary of State warned that if in the coming days efforts to end the conflict will not yield results, he will report to US President Donald Trump that the negotiations have ceased to be a ‘viable option’.

We shall remind you that earlier Marco Rubio presented a two-stage plan to end the Ukrainian conflict, consisting of a ceasefire and subsequent negotiations.
