Macron calls US, Britain, Germany and Ukraine talks positive

French leader Emmanuel Macron has called the talks of the delegations of the US, Britain, France, Germany and Ukraine in Paris constructive.

‘Today we had a positive and constructive discussion on how to achieve a ceasefire and a comprehensive, lasting peace,’ he said on social network X.

Macron specified that he spoke with Vladimir Zelenskyy before and after the meeting of the delegations.

Earlier it became known that the head of Zelenskyy’s office Andriy Yermak, as well as the heads of the foreign Ministry and the Ministry of defence of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga and Rustem Umerov took part in the negotiations in Paris.

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The US politician told the Russian diplomat about contacts with Ukraine and EU representatives in Paris.
