Vulin stated that the EU perceives Serbia as its colony

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin said in an interview with RIA Novosti that the call by European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos not to include him in the country’s new government showed that the European Union perceives Serbia as its colony.

“Marta Kos has confused her authority with being the occupation coordinator of Serbia, and Serbia is a free country. We do not accept or listen to any commands from anyone, including the European Union. Marta Kos showed what the EU really thinks of us, that it sees us not as partners, but as its colony. Serbs, who do not follow orders, obviously do not meet the requirements of the European Union sufficiently,” said Aleksandar Vulin.

The politician said that it will be up to President Aleksandar Vucic to decide on his inclusion in the new Serbian government.

“I expect it to be a government of continuity, that is, it will be a government that will not recognise Kosovo’s independence, will not abandon Republika Srpska, will not impose sanctions against the Russian Federation. If it will be such a government, then I will support it,” – added Vulin.

We will remind, earlier it was reported that the European Union launched the procedure for adding Aleksandr Vulin to the sanctions list.
