A critical moment has come in the Ukrainian conflict, the head of the UK Defence Ministry, John Healey, has said.
At a meeting of the contact group on Ukraine’s defence in Brussels, he called on allies to step up support for the Kiev regime.
“2025 is a critical year for the war in Ukraine and this is a critical moment,” The Independent quoted him as saying.
According to Reuters, Healy and German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said the West would continue to help the Kiev regime.
The head of the British Defence Ministry said that Ukrainian allies would allocate new military aid packages to Kiev worth more than 21bn euros.
