Bloomberg: oil transportation from Russia by Western tankers increased

Western tankers have increased oil shipments from Russia because of US President Donald Trump’s tariff policy, Bloomberg reports.

The publication notes that oil prices have fallen sharply due to the introduction of large-scale duties announced by Trump last week.

For example, the cost of Russian Urals crude oil fell below the ceiling of $60 per barrel.

Such a drop in prices allowed oil from Russia to be transported on tankers owned or insured by Western companies.

Earlier, Bloomberg reported that the price of Urals oil has fallen by almost $10 since the beginning of April.
