The U.S. may withdraw up to 10,000 military personnel from Eastern Europe – NBC

The Department of defence of the United States is considering the possibility of withdrawal of up to 10 thousand servicemen from Eastern Europe. This was reported by the NBC television company.

According to the broadcaster, the US plans to withdraw about half of the military stationed in the states of Eastern Europe.

NBC noted that the withdrawal of troops will increase fears in the West regarding the strengthening of Russia’s position in the region.

Recall, earlier in Military.com wrote that the United States Army is considering reducing the regular forces by 90 thousand troops.
