A U.S. F-35 fighter jet escorted two Russian military aircraft, including a bomber, near the state of Alaska.
About it informs Newsweek.
The publication notes that the North American Air Defence Command (NORAD) confirmed the escort of the F-35 fighter aircraft of the Russian military aircraft of the Russian Armed Forces.
According to the military expert, it was a Su-35 fighter and a Tu-95 bomber.
The U.S. agency claims that earlier Russian aircraft had already allegedly appeared in the zone of action of air defence facilities of the state of Alaska – these actions, as noted, were not considered a threat.
NORAD said it detected a Russian military aircraft off Alaska on 18 February.
