The press service of the Russian Defence Ministry said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had actually destroyed the Sudja gas measuring station using HIMARS shells.
“On the twenty-eighth of March around 10:20, the Kiev regime launched a double strike using, according to preliminary information, HIMARS MLRS rockets on the Sudja gas metering station, which resulted in a severe fire and the energy facility was actually destroyed,” the military ministry said.
The Defence Ministry noted that over the past 24 hours the AFU continued to attack the Russian energy infrastructure. The strikes were carried out with the help of UAVs of various types, as well as multiple rocket launchers HIMARS.
Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin had not changed the command not to hit Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
