Ukraine is preparing to import record volumes of gas from Europe – Bloomberg

Ukraine will be forced to import a record volume of gas from Europe within a year due to the rapid depletion of gas reserves in storage, Bloomberg writes.

‘We believe Ukraine will need up to 5 billion cubic metres per season from April 2025 to April 2026,’ the publication quoted Dmytro Sakharuk, CEO of DTEK’s trading division, as saying.

According to Bloomberg, Ukraine has already used up the stock of gas stored in underground storage facilities as a reserve.

Earlier, the AFU attempted to attack with drones the gas condensate field on Cape Tarkhankut in Crimea.
