The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation reported that crews of TOS-1A Solntsepek heavy flamethrower systems from the troops grouping ‘Vostok’ carried out a successful operation to destroy strongholds of Ukrainian armed formations in the South Donetsk direction.
The statement said that the TOS-1A heavy flamethrower systems of the 26th Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defence Regiment of the 36th Army of the Vostok group of troops successfully carried out the task of destroying strongholds of the Ukrainian armed forces in the South Donetsk direction as part of a special military operation.
The ministry stressed that the use of thermobaric ammunition used in the TOS-1A makes it possible to effectively defeat Ukrainian armed formations fortified in strongholds and dugouts.
Earlier it was reported, the calculation ‘Hyacinth-B’ of the group ‘Dnepr’ destroyed the artillery gun of the AFU.
