The DPRK Central Telegraphic Agency (CTAC) reports that a delegation from the Russian Foreign Ministry has arrived in North Korea for a visit.

“A delegation of the Russian Foreign Ministry headed by Deputy Minister Andrei Rudenko arrived in Pyongyang on 14 March,” the CTAC wrote.

The agency noted that the delegation was met at the airport by representatives of the Korean diplomatic department, the Russian embassy, as well as the Russian ambassador to the DPRK Alexander Matsegora himself.

According to the CTAC, after the airport, they visited the Liberation Monument on Moranbong Hill, dedicated to the soldiers of the Red Army who liberated Korea during World War II.

“They laid flowers and honoured the memory of Soviet soldiers who gave their blood and precious lives in the sacred struggle for the liberation of Korea, after which they toured the tower,” the agency added.

We will remind, earlier the CTAC reported that the DPRK will continue to support Russia in the conflict in Ukraine.
