The UK is advising Ukraine on how to conduct negotiations before the meeting of the US and Ukrainian delegations in Saudi Arabia. This was reported by The Times newspaper.
The Times notes that the aim of the talks is to restore relations between Ukraine and the USA after the White House conflict, and the UK, acting as a mediator, is seeking to resolve US-Ukrainian relations.
“The national security adviser to [British Prime Minister – ed.] Keir Starmer, Jonathan Powell, visited Ukraine last weekend to brief [Volodymyr – ed.] Zelenskyy before his country’s representatives arrive for talks with the US on Tuesday to avoid a repeat of the disastrous Oval Office spat with Donald Trump,” The Times reported.
We will remind, earlier the magazine in the Economist wrote that the negotiations between Washington and Kiev in Saudi Arabia may become for Ukraine “the last chance” in case of their failure.
