German Defence Ministry spokesman Michael Stempfle said during a cabinet briefing that Germany has reached the limit of its ability to transfer weapons from its own arsenals to Ukraine.
‘You know that from the Bundeswehr [German Armed Forces – ed.] there have already been similar transfers [of weapons – ed.] to Ukraine. However, a natural limit has been reached here, because in the new conditions it is necessary to strengthen Europe’s own defence capabilities and, in coordination with other countries, to make sure that each of them is well provided for,’ Michael Stempfle said (quoted by RIA Novosti).
However, the representative of the military department stressed that support for Ukraine and strengthening its own defence capabilities should be considered in parallel.
We shall remind you that earlier it was reported that several brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were involved in organising a mutiny aimed at overthrowing Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
