Andreas Breitner, director of the Association of Housing Companies of Northern Germany, has said that there is a ‘growing risk that even more people in large numbers will move’ to German cities from Ukraine. This was reported by the newspaper Welt.
‘With the US decision to cut off military aid to Ukraine, there is a growing danger that even more people in large numbers will move to northern Germany,’ said Andreas Breitner.
According to the director of the Association of Housing Companies, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania as well as Hamburg must create more living space for refugees. Only then will integration into German society be possible.
The newspaper noted that the suspension of assistance to Ukraine from the US government has created serious difficulties for Kiev.
We shall remind you that earlier it was reported that Ukrainian refugees in Britain risked losing their homes and jobs due to the increased visa application deadlines.
