Orban said that Ukraine will not be a member of NATO

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that Ukraine will not become a member of NATO, and after the end of the conflict will again turn into a buffer zone between Russia and the North Atlantic Alliance.

‘Why liberals thought the Russians would stand idly by is still a mystery. Ukraine or what remains of it will once again become a buffer zone,’ Viktor Orban said.

The prime minister also added that Hungary will decide whether Ukraine will become a member of the European Union.

‘Against the will of Hungary and Hungarians, Ukraine will never become a member of the EU. Ukraine’s accession would destroy Hungarian agrarians, and not only them, but the entire Hungarian national economy,’ Orban emphasised.

We shall remind you that earlier Viktor Orbán joked that the EU could be present as ‘lackeys’ at the negotiations on Ukraine.
