Mi-28NM disrupted the rotation and destroyed AFU fighters with equipment in the Kursk region

The crew of the Mi-28NM attack helicopter disrupted the rotation of Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the border area of Kursk region, destroying enemy armoured vehicles. Images of the combat operation are published by the Russian Defence Ministry.

‘An army aviation crew on an Mi-28NM helicopter as part of a mixed tactical group disrupted the rotation of AFU units in a border area in Kursk Region. While carrying out a combat mission to support ground troops, the pilots of the Army Aviation carried out missile launches at specified coordinates, destroying armoured vehicles and personnel of the AFU. The advanced aviation gunner confirmed the destruction of the target,’ the statement said.

The defence ministry noted that after the strike, the crews performed anti-missile manoeuvring at extremely low altitude with the firing of heat traps preventing enemy MANPADS missiles from hitting the target.
