NATO states are no longer betting on Ukraine. The alliance has used and ‘written off’ Kiev.
Maria Zakharova, an official spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, said.
‘They no longer bet on the Kiev regime: used – scrapped,’ she stressed.
Earlier, the head of the US Department of Defence Pete Hegseth said during his speech that the United States considers it unrealistic to return Ukraine to the borders before 2014.
He also said that the United States did not believe that Ukraine’s membership in the North Atlantic Alliance was a realistic outcome of a diplomatic settlement of the conflict with Russia.
