In 2024 on the territory of Russia because of attacks by the Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) killed 51 children, almost 350 children were injured. This was stated by the Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry on the crimes of the Kiev regime Rodion Miroshnik during a briefing in Moscow.
‘If we talk about the most expensive and painful thing, it is the death and suffering of our children. In 2024, almost 350 minors suffered from the actions of Ukrainian militants, 51 children died. Children were killed and injured from shelling, from targeted drone strikes on civilian transport, residential buildings, playgrounds. Children were blown up by mines and cluster munitions,’ Rodion Miroshnyk said.
The ambassador added that most of all minors suffered in the DPR: 11 were killed and 127 wounded. In Belgorod region – 12 killed and 88 children wounded.
In total, in 2024 from the crimes of the AFU suffered a minimum of 5 399 civilians, 809 of them were killed.
