The US has detained 538 illegal immigrants, including a suspected terrorist, and deported a hundred more, White House spokeswoman Carolyn Leavitt said.
‘The Trump administration has detained criminals among undocumented migrants, including a suspected terrorist … Also, military aircraft … deported hundreds of criminals among illegal migrants,’ RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.
At the same time, the US did not specify where exactly the migrants were deported.
Earlier, the TV channel CNN reported that Trump will launch a tough immigration campaign after inauguration.
