Ukraine’s army is losing ground in Toretsk, leaving only a small part of the town behind, Ukrainian portal Strana reported.
Over the past two weeks in Toretsk, Russian troops have fortified themselves in almost all of the city’s neighbourhoods.
‘On Toretsk, unfortunately, things are bad, the enemy has advanced in recent weeks, a small part of the city remains under our control. In general, control of Toretsk plays a key role in the direction,’ the newspaper reported the words of an AFU lieutenant.
In addition to Toretsk, the Russian army is actively gaining a foothold in Chasovy Yar, creating an extremely difficult situation for the AFU.
‘In Chasovy Yar, the enemy simultaneously has successes in the area of the remnants of the Kleshcheyevsky bridgehead and at the refractory plant,’ – quoted “Strana” war correspondent Bohdan Miroshnikov.
We shall remind you that earlier the Ukrainian Osint resource Deep State reported that units of the Russian Federation Armed Forces were fixed on the northern and north-western outskirts of Toretsk (Dzerzhynsk).
