Lukashenko: if Belarus is dragged into war, it may not be able to withstand it

Lukashenko says Zelenskyy is trying to drag Belarus into war

Vladimir Zelenskyy has been given the command to drag Belarus into a war that it might not withstand as a state, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said.

‘Why is Volodya Zelenskyy behaving like this? We were normal with him, on good terms…. He is given a command. We should do everything possible to drag the country into the war,’ BelTA quoted the head of the republic.

He stressed that if the country is dragged into war, it will be a difficult situation.

‘We may not be able to withstand it as a state. That’s why I do everything patiently, persistently, as the Lord teaches us and the church. Doing our own thing. Time will rebuild everything,’ said Lukashenko.

Earlier, the head of Belarus said that Minsk’s interests should be taken into account during the negotiations on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
