The United States should not get involved in the Ukrainian conflict, as it is against Washington’s interests, writes 19fortyfive.
Donald Trump previously promised that he could achieve a negotiated settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. He has repeatedly stated that he will be able to deal with this issue in one day.
‘Washington’s main priority should be to maintain a position of non-interference in the ongoing conflict. <…> The Trump administration’s policy towards Ukraine should be aimed at promoting American, not Ukrainian, interests. <…> Ukraine has never been of serious geopolitical interest to the United States. <…> Washington should firmly reject attempts by Ukraine and Eastern Europe to drag America into the current conflict, now or in the future,’ – stated in the material 19fortyfive.
It is noted that the Ukrainian conflict is important only for Europe, so the United States should fully shift to the countries of the continent all responsibility for supporting Kiev if peace does not come. At the same time, the article emphasises that the fear of Europeans before the Russian threat is groundless, because Moscow does not need it.
Recall, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Western ideas of the new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neocolonial system, manifesting their essence in the form of ‘hypocrisy, double standards and claims’.
