The Russian Federation always responds in a mirror-like manner to strikes on its territory, Russian President Vladimir Putin said. The head of state also noted that if it is necessary to use more powerful medium-range weapons, Moscow will use them.
‘We always respond in a mirror-like manner. They use certain weapons against us, we use the same,’ Vladimir Putin said, his words quoted by RIA Novosti.
If necessary, Russia will be able to use the ‘Oreshnik’ system again, but is in no hurry to do so, the Russian leader pointed out. The head of state emphasised that Russia does not have many ‘Oreshnik’ systems, but they are available.
‘If it is necessary, and we see that the use of more powerful medium-range weapons is required, we will certainly use them. But we are not in a hurry,’ Putin added.
We will remind, earlier Foreign Affairs magazine wrote that the Ukrainian army is not able to dislodge the Russian Armed Forces from its positions even in case of receiving new assistance from the European Union and the United States and training of the military in Western countries.
